We look forward to satisfying your needs and the needs of your pets at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Stockton. Our multi-specialty hospital was established to provide the highest level of small animal care in our locale.
Our hospital offers orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, and soft tissue surgery as well as radiology, CT (computerized tomography) and ultrasound. Patients are referred to us by general practice veterinarians and emergency clinics for services that require advanced training, specialization or highly technical equipment.
The Associated Veterinary Emergency Service has recently joined us to provide emergency care to animals after hours and on weekends and holidays. In addition to seeing new patients during emergency hours, the veterinarians and staff maintain 24 hour care of all in-house patients from both the emergency and surgery services.
State of the Art Facility
Our facility offers the most recent technology available to veterinarians. Digital radiology, CT, and a complete in-house lab add to the high quality of our services.
A surgical service receptionist is available Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm. All patients are seen by appointment. Emergencies and urgent cases are seen as soon as possible, including on weekends if necessary. Please bring all available records from your referring veterinarian, including patient history, medications, laboratory results, and radiographs.
Diagnostics, treatments and surgery will be limited to the problems specified by the referring veterinarian. Good communication between all parties is essential for optimal patient care. After you leave the office, a complete written report is faxed and mailed to your doctor. By referring you to a specialist, your veterinarian has demonstrated his deep concern for your pet's welfare. Please help us by keeping him informed of your pet's condition.
